Transparent Stripes

Hello there!
This nail art was inspired by a top of mine. I didn't know what to paint on my nails, and when I was tidying up my closet, I came across this top, of which I thought the pattern would make quite a cool nail art!

This is that top from Bershka (the picture is from their webshop). It has transparent horizontal stripes, and it has a kind of floral pattern. I found the floral pattern was not very floral, when I tried to translate it onto my nails (;

To start off, I put some strips of striping tape on top of my base coat. Then I used only one coat of teal polish, as it's best to pull off the tape when the polish is still wet.

After that,  I used acrylic paint and painted some random spot on top of the teal parts. Of course, there was a lot of paint that got  on the transparent part, so I used some nail polish remover to remove the paint in between. Lastly, I added a top coat and that was it!
