New week, new nail art! (As promised last week). As you can tell by the title, it's a quilted nail design, which I'd already done once before, but I used different colours this time.
New week, new nail art! (As promised last week). As you can tell by the title, it's a quilted nail design, which I'd already done once before, but I used different colours this time.
Firstly, I had to sort out the silver 'caviar' balls. I own two bottles, one pink (which I used previously) and one multicolour, so yeah... I painted my nails two coats of black and then decided to have two silver accent nails.
Then I added a matte top coat, not too long after the black polish felt dry to the touch. When also this matte polish felt dry to touch, I used a business card to make diagonal lines. At each point of intersection, I placed a tiny dab of matte top coat and a silver caviar ball. Don't use a top coat at the end! It will ruin the effect (;
