D is for Dreamcatchers - alphabet nail art challenge

Hey everyone!
I actually planned to do my nails last weekend, but because of school, I couldn't really find time. I painted the base colour, but only decorated them 2 days ago.

I painted some rhinestone studs pink a few days before I actually used them. Then is started with a base coat, and two coats of a grey polish.

 A few days later, I painted the dreamcatcher and feathers. I wanted to use the rhinestones as beads on the dreamcatcher, but then I realised they were far too big, so I ended up placing them on all the other nails.

Finishing off with a top coat, and it's done!
The pictures didn't turn out that great.. I don't know why but they all were gritty.. Is there someone who has tips to improve photographing my nails?

oh how pretty, especially with those nice bed sheet prints........ and the pretty watermarks everywhere...
I do like to compare nail arts and see that I've improved! (:
